Production Monitoring and Product Traceability System
What is Tracer Factory?
Tracer Factory is an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) especially designed to meet traceability requirements of manufacturing companies. It is a scalable and easy-to-install and operate system and has been successfully applied in every industrial sector.
Based on integration standards such as ISA-95, it bridges the gap between business and shop-floor systems, delivering meaningful real-time information both to decision makers and operators. Tracer Factory is a valuable tool for the steering of your manufacturing operations to improved efficiency and profitability.
At Simpas we place special emphasis on how we package our products as we consider them to be a crucial step in the integrity of our constructions.
If the windows and doors are shipped in Full Container
Step 1. Fix windows and doors with bubble wrap.
Step 2. Windows and doors’ corners are protected by cardboard to avoid collision damage.
Step 3. Frames are wrapped with protective tapes to avoid scratching.
If customer has his own packaging method, we would follow their requirements.
When part of your orders needs to be transported quickly over long distances, we can offer air freight options to ship your goods across the world.
For all other means of transport other than FCL, for minimizing risks of damage we are packing goods in wooden crates that are meeting the ISPM-15 requirements of IPPC/FAO.
Your Windows and Doors will be loaded on a shipping container. Your windows and doors will be carefully packaged, and packed into the container.
The container is picked up from the factory via truck, transported to Piraeus port and loaded on a ship for its journey across the ocean. The size of your container will either be 20’ long or 40’ long, so clear access to the jobsite is important.
If your jobsite will not allow for a semi-truck with a 40’ container to safely deliver your order, you will want to offload at a safer location and transport the windows and doors to the jobsite using a large moving truck.
The amount of time it takes to transport your order depends on the location of delivery in the USA. Shipping times vary between 3-5 weeks.
Once your order has arrived to the site there are a number of tools and pieces of equipment that will make the unload process smooth, efficient and safe.
The receiving and unloading the goods will be dependent on a few factors. The amount of time it will take to unload the container will depend on your site conditions, the number of workers you have, and the number and sizes of your windows and doors
We have seen unload processes go as fast as 2 hours, and as long as 8 hours.
(The 8 hour unload project had six lift and slide doors that were 16’ wide x 8’ high, and one 32’ wide x 8’ high lift and slide door in addition to the rest of the windows and doors.)
The following photos outline the equipment you will want for receiving and unloading windows.
