Empowering Our Team: Simpas Live Better Employees Complete Certified Basic Life Support Training

True to our core values, we recently took a vital step toward ensuring a safer, more resilient workplace.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, the team at our Ioannina facilities successfully participated in a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course. Organized by the Hellenic Society of Emergency Prehospital Care (EEEPF) in collaboration with The Education Gallery and the European Resuscitation Council, this intensive seminar equipped our employees with life-saving skills that extend far beyond the factory floor.
Lifesaving Knowledge in Action
Led by a dedicated team of certified instructors, our employees underwent rigorous theoretical and practical training. The comprehensive curriculum covered critical emergency response scenarios, including:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Mastering both the theory and the high-quality, video-guided execution of CPR.
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training: Safe and effective use of AEDs during sudden cardiac arrest.
- Recovery Position: Proper management and positioning of an unconscious breathing casualty.
- Choking Management: Quick action protocols for severe airway obstructions.
Through hands-on workshops and real-time guidance, our employees practiced every scenario until they felt confident and capable of managing a real-life medical emergency.
