Find the Right Aluminum & Steel System with Our Interactive Map
Finding the right window system for a project just became easier.
The right aluminum or steel window and door system depends a lot on where the building is. Climate, weather exposure and local conditions all influence which systems perform best. To make this first step simpler, we have added a new interactive map to our website, where you can see the systems we recommend for each location.
How the Interactive Map Works
- Choose a country. The map currently covers the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
- Select a state or province. For the USA and Canada, the map goes into detail for each state and province.
- See the recommendations. A panel shows the main climate concerns of the area, together with the recommended aluminum and steel systems.
What You Will Find for Each Location
For every location, the systems are organized by type:
- Windows
- Doors
- Sliding and folding doors
- Curtain walls
The recommendations include aluminum systems from Reynaers and Schüco, and steel systems from Secco Sistemi. Each system links directly to its technical specifications, so you can go from the map to the details in one click.
Why Location Matters
Each region places different demands on windows and doors. The map highlights the main climate concerns for every area, for example:
- California: seismic activity and a mixed climate. Systems need to perform in both warm and cooler conditions, in a region where buildings must account for earthquakes.
- British Columbia: heavy rain and a mixed climate. Water tightness and reliable drainage become especially important.
Other locations bring their own challenges, such as cold winters, strong sun, high winds or coastal exposure. Knowing these conditions from the start helps narrow down the systems that make sense for the project.
A Practical Starting Point
The interactive map is designed for architects, developers, contractors and homeowners in the early stages of a project. It gives a clear overview of suitable systems for a location, which can then be refined according to the design, the size of the openings and the performance requirements of each building.
