Industrial Designer

Simpas Live Better, one of the most successful companies in aluminum and steel fenestration products, having completed more than 200 projects in the USA, Canada, Israel and more is looking to hire an Industrial or Mechanical Engineer that will be a part of the estimation department.

 

The Industrial Designer will be responsible for setting up CNC machines in accordance with technical drawings and blueprints. The ideal candidate will use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines to feed the CNC machines in order to produce high-quality products that meet design specifications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and a positive, professional attitude.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up machines accurately.
  • Use computer software (such as Logikal, ReynaPro suite, Schucal MCO for CNC, and CamQuix) to model cutting paths and program machines.
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Determine the appropriate tools required to cut specific materials and program machines accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or relevant sector
  • Excellent verbal and written command of the English Language
  • AUTOCAD and 3D modeling knowledge
  • At least 2 years previous experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 2 years experience with computer software such as Logikal, ReynaPro, Schucal or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to closely follow directions.
  • Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Military obligations completed (for males)

  • Previous experience in the construction industry is required.
Quality Assurance Manager
  • Monitors the relevant legislation and supports the procedures of the systems implemented by the company (ISO 9001, NFRC, ENERGY STAR)
  • Leads, coordinates and organises regular meetings
  • Organises and participates in Internal Inspections to ensure compliance with Quality procedures and the company’s compliance with legal and corporate requirements
  • Coordinates communication of complaints from consumers/customers of the company and ensures that they are promptly provided with relevant information (verbal or written).
  • Manages the computerised system for recording communications/complaints from consumers/customers of the company.
  • Ensures training, development and evaluation of subordinates based on company procedures.
  • Record & evaluate suppliers on Quality issues.
  • Maintaining the systems documentation.
